Counseling involves the client not only learning more about him/herself but also gaining new skills. Counseling can provide improved communication and interpersonal skills, greater self-acceptance, and self-esteem, the ability to change self-defeating behaviors/habits, and relief from depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions.​
My approach is client-centered. Life at times can be challenging. Monet Clark is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH). She also holds an M.Ed. in school counseling. Having worked in the mental health field for over 15 years, she often wondered why some individuals struggle while others appear to function well. Through years of self-reflection and her own struggles, Monet realized loving yourself is a priority. Without it, your ability to function declines.
